We lost a great American hero.....no, not Tim Russert (Although I liked him)....I am talking about George Carlin. He passed away today and unlike the around the clock coverage on TV and Cable and Front Pages of every newspaper in the country (and a few additional pages), the MSM will not give nor will they be able to give George the tribute he deserves. For anyone who has been on this planet over the past 40 years, GC leaves more than just comedy genious. He tweaked (ok destroyed) the politically correct social and political mores of our day. In the 60's, he was arrested for saying the Seven Dirty Words you could not say on Television. Today, the lyrics of many Rap related songs, have all these words and more. It is unfortunate that he could not give a final concert that he knew would be his last. I wonder what he would have said? George told you what he thought and did not care if you liked him. He had his opinion and if you paid your dime, you would here it. If you didn't like what you heard, George would tell you to Póg ma thoin. News Flash: John Sidney McCain invites Barack Hussein Obama to a townhall meeting with La Raza in San Diego
I am going to invoke the 72 hour rule before I comment on this stupid move by the pathetic Rhino running as the representative of the former Republican party. Giving La Raza....a totally racist organization a world stage is deplorable. McCain does not even attempt to hide his open border agenda. I am starting to miss Hillary! (Did I say that out loud?) An raibh sé te amuigh?
My good friend Steve Benton recently started his own blog, the Benton Press. It has inspired me to the follow him into the abyss to spew out my own brand of venom and pure blarney on what pisses me off from day to day. Steve's first post related to his pet peeve (and mine) Global Warming...also known as bullshit.
An raibh sé te amuigh? This is a Gaelic phrase meaning "Was it hot outside?" If your answer is yes, then it was caused by Global Warming. If your answer is no, it was still caused by Global Warming. Flood in Iowa...GW...Tornados in Kansas...GW...some guy runs a red light in Orange County California and hits you...come on...come on...you got it...Global Warming! It is the cause for everything.
So what is Global Warming...the short version is that it is really just "Weather" and tomorrow it will also be "Weather"...next month, we will have "Weather" again. The alarmists on the left have also chosen the term "Climate Change" like that is something new. It is a truly amazing phenomonon. I view Global Warming and any other cause celebre of the day from a single prism...follow the money and follow the players. Or is that two prisms...whatever. When I vote in an election, I look to see who supports it. I don't have to read an election ballot...just follow the money and then follow the players. It works every time.
Ask yourself this important question: If we do nothing about Global Warming, what will happen to Europe???...the answer: who cares. The land of Sharia is lost for all times. The continent that fought Hitler has surrendered its freedom to the European Union. The People that fought the Crusades are surrending to the Jihad onslaught. The good news is that we are separated by a lot of water (and with Global Warming...hopefully a lot more water in the future) Otherwise, the Euros would be crossing our borders with a vengence like the horde of undocumented felons now crossing into the US from Canada....but that is for another gab.
One bright spot is my beloved Ireland...having joined the EU just to piss off the British...they are now showing some backbone by voting against amendments to the EU constitution which are not in their best interest. The Irish have found that they do not have to come to the US to prosper. Over a thousand or so multinational companies are now based in Ireland. Ireland has gained the moniker, the Celtic Tiger. The Irish do not want to give up their new found economic freedom and prosperity to the marxists and elitists of the EU. Sorry, where was I?
Oh yea, Global Warming. I am a "Denier"....I do not believe in Global Warming! The term means nothing, zip, nada. GW is whatever the kooks from the left want it to be. These are the same clowns that were selling us the religion of Global Cooling in the 70's. Of course, I would be a critic on this issue, but that is reserved for those on the left side of the political equation. They are critics...we are deniers. The connotation is that if you deny the obvious you are a wack job. However, if you follow the simple prism of my mind, the only thing obvious about the BS of Global Warming is that the money wanted by the left is yours and the players who belong to this GW cult stand out like a sore thumb for their utter gall and hypocrisy. They travel the world in their private jets....limosines....live in mansions....and have concerts for thousand of people to worship their BS while they trample the earth with the carbon footprint of Bigfoot.
Alas, I must stop this post. I have to turn off my computer to save your ugly asses from the eternal damnation of global warming. Good night, Mr. Gore wherever you are and Póg ma thoin.

(June 17,2008) As if I needed more confirmation of my position on the left wanting to stifle debate (or is it fear of debate?)....check out the clowns at http://www.worldchanging.com/archives/008132.html They openly state that no debate or comments not toeing the party line will be tolerated....dissent will be deleted. Note: they have already deleted my post and apparently blocked my email. That took a lot of energy. I think I will set up a Cap and Trade Blog to offset the time spent by these pathetic souls. I can just picture these people going through life covering their eyes and ears and making loud sounds so that sanity does not enter their brain.
